The Shrine Project was a long time in the making. It was preceded by the garden of glass and will someday be followed by the garden of gem stones. This, therefore, is the garden of silk. It needs a number of flowers yet and the statues need completing and painting but it really is well on its way to it’s final form. I can say that, not including the associated research, there are well over 400 hours in this project. The research took far longer even if the trips abroad aren’t factored into the final total. I have very much enjoyed this project and look forward to really completing it.
