After the very stellar yesterday that I had , just about everything would be considered down hill.

So today we got up and packed up every little thing after a big breakfast of pancakes and bacon and eggs for people who eat eggs. We then drove to Lier. Leir is a cozy little town South East of Antwerp. They have the Zimmer clock there which we toured. They have some nice churches and a Beginhof which we walked through. None of the churches seemed to be open.

Then we drove to St. Lenaards and waited for someone to come open the church for the 5pm service. That happened a little after 4:30 so we went in, found the shrine and discreetly clicked away. Noone attempted to stop us or yell at us. And this shrine was large and different from the rest of the period ones.. It was also THE VERY LAST SHRINE on my list! I have completed the collection! I have finished the game. I have pictures of everything now so I can go home and make flowers. Lots of flowers.

We are now in Dusseldorf where we will have a fairly relaxing tomorrow before getting on the plane on Monday morning. We will fly home and get our missing 6 hours back that we sacrificed on the way over.

I am so exhaused. It has been a great trip with a lot of great high points. I have many new friends and a wealth of new pictures to work off of. I will still need to request photos from Ebstorf but that should not be a problem since I actually met the person who takes the pictures and she knows what I’m looking for so that should work well.

I can barely wait to get home and get to work. But I will need to find some untwisted silk thread so I can see how different it will look.
