Happy Thanksgiving!

Today we drove to Balan where we had an appointment to see the tiny little shrine they have there. He asked us to take it off the wall and hand it down so we could photograph it. Oh My! I got to carry it and hold it and pet it. I’m like in happy heaven.

He also gave us some books and detailed photos (without the glass) and he will email us additional photos. He was so nice – as have all the people we’ve met in conjunction with this project.

And then we drove to St. Lenaards to see their shrine but it was not open. They have church services on Saturday at 5pm and 9am on Sunday. So we should be able to see it this weekend.

And that only leaves Cologne and I’m not even sure where and if there is a shrine there. I will ask tomorrow.

Tomorrow. I can hardly wait for tomorrow. I have confirmed my visit to meet with the curator and a textile expert to see the three shrines that they have just taken apart two weeks ago. My timing is awesome as usual.

I suspect tomorrows entry will be far longer than todays.
